We are pleased to offer you a freelance position for our on-line publication venture. The
Freelance offer accompanies the Agreement detailing Terms and Conditions associated with the
Offer.
This Offer is NOT to be construed as a permanent or temporary position, regular
employment, fixed time contract in any way, whatsoever. This is a pure Freelance Offer and
should be seen as a project by project basis transaction.
The offer implies the following:
1. We would be seeking original content in English and Bengali for our Monthly online
magazine as and when required through a Purchase Order. (PO). This Order would
include the content specifications (topic, size, deadline to submit, format etc), price
we are going to pay as well as the time after which we are going to pay after the
submission of the content. All payment will be in INR (Indian Rupees) cheques.
2. As a freelancer you reserve the right to accept or reject the PO.
3. Once agreed, you are liable to send the content within the deadline.
4. You can see the content in your name (with email / address) in the site once
published.
5. Editorial Team reserves the right to amend / change content before publication. We
would take this process as a consultative manner.
6. Considering the nature of on-line media, we cannot take any responsibility of
protecting the copyright of your published content.
7. As an indicative measure, we would provide 21-30 days for you to send the content.
8. While getting content from you, we would assume that is original and not infringing
on any copyright of any individual / entity.
9. We would prefer, for reasons of tracking and operational ease, communication by
email on all future transactions.
10. This Offer is open-ended in terms of time, i.e. being a pure freelance offer, it remains
into effect as long as we commission project and you are in a position to provide
content.
